big is bad

While it's not the smallest mp3 player in the world it's still impressively dinky.

I was really impressed with the MobiBLU 1500 when it came out, but I wasn't quite ready to shell out and buy one. This little beaut is even smaller and has the same feature list.

While I think it's great I still think it's lacking something - another 3 gigs. 1Gb is a good quantity of music, but I want enough for a weekend boarding. Thankfully with continual tech enhancements in this area I'm sure we'll have that and more soon. So come on guys, hurry up.

ultimate showdown

Anything with batman, gozilla, optimus prime and chuck norris in it must be good.

This is the ultimate showdown.

swallowing national pride

From the bbc:

Vandals took apart dozens of supermarket trolleys in the mistaken belief they contained £1 coins.

The would-be thieves targeted 83 shopping carts at Lidl's supermarket on Essington Way in Peterlee, County Durham, in the early hours of Tuesday.

They took apart the handles of each trolley before stacking them in a neat pile in a black bin bag left nearby.

Police believe they did not realise the £1 coins are returned when shoppers take the trolleys back.

It goes on to say "We can only guess that those responsible have never used a supermarket trolley before, otherwise they would know where the money goes."

So lets assume it was kids.. but really, what are they learning at school? I really struggle to comprehend the idiocy.

I do hope they they bragged about it pre-crime though; I'd love to see their faces as they sullenly walked back to their peers, empty handed and embarrassed.

i heart miniaturisation

I just saw this screen and think it's pretty funky.

While it may not look impressive yet, I've failed to tell you that it's a mere 2.4" in diameter.

Aside from wrist watch internet terminals and credit card GPS, think of the myriad of wallet mods!
