cruelty to humans

I hate animal rights activists. I don't quite hate them enough to be cruel to animals, but definitely enough to rip apart stuffed animals in front of their stands. The thing I particularly dislike is their posters and videos of animals being tortured. I'm pretty sure that all in all they do more damage to the humans that see those than was ever done to the animals. I also think that beknownst to them, they actually derive pleasure from the feeling of upset they get when they actively seek out and view animal torture.

They are good for one thing though - when they run up to me with a poster of a cleaved bunny asking me to sign their petition I enjoy shouting at them.

  • Nothing pleases me more than to be insulted by someone who doesn't understand grammar.

  • Ok fine.
I cannot believe someone with any level of intelligence would write something like this. A large part of the human race abuses animals on the basis that we are the dominant species and do not have to answer to anyone. The only method of having accountability over animals is through peers. Not caring (actively) is removing any sort of moral conscience over other species.
I abhore our treatment of animals for our own gains and even more so when it is for our "entertainment".

Incidentally, grammar is not always neccessary to achieve your point, my grammar maybe technically incorrect but the communication was still carried which is the purpose of language.

  • There's a difference between actively caring and filling people minds with gruesome images of animal torture with the hope of emotionally bullying them into aiding their cause.

If you had actually read my post you may have noticed that the tone wasn't pro-animal torture, but rather anti-human bullying.

While I don't abhor our treatment of animals for our pleasure, I certainly loathe our mistreatment of them, although I sense that's what you had intended to write.

Oh, and regarding grammar; I do apologise if you felt unjustly treated by my curt inflammatory remarks on your beautifully elegant prose. Have you thought that maybe, just maybe diving into someone's blog and scribbling out the remark "your an idiot" with your Fisher-Price wax crayon of judgement might actually insight a response? I suppose not since you didn't event grant me the courtesy of reading it properly.
