The other morning I was asked by a member of the marketing team if I'd prepare a quote for the website describing why I love my job. Being part of the minority that actually does enjoy my job, I accepted the task and put my creative writing hat on. While thinking of something positive and suitably corporate I had many cynical ideas that were much more fun.

I love my job because..

• ..most other ways of getting paid for doing this little are illegal
  
• ..neither the idiots nor the women get fired
  
• ..I don't have a computer at home
  
• ..the toilet roll is free
  
• ..it's warm and dry
  
• ..not all of my colleagues are incompetent
  
• ..it beats begging
  
• ..I'm agoraphobic
  

I had many more (a lot of which were better) but apparently I love my job too much to have noted them down.
