bygone times

Gone are the days where I while away my evenings chatting to mostly like minded people on irc. This evening however I was reminded of my past antisocial joys. I spent the evening chatting to readers of one of my preferred blogs, kotaku.

I spent a rather pleasant 3 hours chatting about the various next gen consoles and the relative innovation that the companies are bringing to the field. While I hadn't intended to slate Sony, I'm less than impressed with their offerings and sadly that lead to me talking about them in a rather dim light.

Anyway - my point was that my evening socialising online was fulfilling. While there isn't room in my life for my past commitment to online banter, I feel that perhaps I should make room for at least a little chit-chat.
