pride?
I was flicking through the channels a minute ago and stopped on Eurosport where they're showing an "explosive, dynamic and creative" fighting competition called pride.
It's way too brutal for me really, but one thing I did notice is a rather unlikely sponsor. At the end of the round, while I was recovering from my 2 minute grimace, I noticed that the skimpy ring ladies were sporting capcom tops. Well, perhaps bras is more accurate, but regardless - a video game developer / publisher sponsoring a violent fighting championship. Stranger things have happened I suppose.

I would assume it has something to do with Capcom being a publisher for a Pride fighting game, and getting some nice advertising in.
